The information in this review is a compilation of information gathered in both practical use and testing environments. Testing consisted of such things as durability, ease of weapon operation, accuracy, practicality, realism and reliability in a variety of weather related conditions.
Note: All tests conducted with this AEG where done using both an 8.4v 1100mah which comes with the rifle and a Firefox 11.1v 1350mah Li-Poly High Performance stick type battery.
Result: Pass
This rifle is a full metal rifle excluding the collapsible stock, forearm and grip. This is a great Mid Level AEG for the player who is looking for a well built reliable AEG. I have had this rifle and have used/tested it for about 6 months now with 0% problems, even after dipping it in about 8 inches of old man winter. I have used .12, .20 precision and .25 precision BB?s with the FPS percentages listed below for the precision BB?s only and with both the 8.4v and 11.1 Li-Poly batteries and I must say what a difference. I would put the rate of fire near 1300rds per minute with the battery upgrade.
Pros:
Durable realistic construction
3rd Generation full metal gearbox and gears
100% operation in weather conditions (Warm-Cold, Wet-Dry)
Hop-up- easy to use (Very accurate)
Accuracy test results Able to maintain paper plate hits 98% at a range of 225 Ft. (using .25 precision BB)
RIS for Scope/laser/light ? on top of receiver in addition to the bottom and 2 (small) sides of forearm
FPS (Will meet most CQB limits)
.20 Precision = 390-405 FPS
.25 Precision = 330-375 FPS
Breakdown is easy for cleaning, maintenance, adjustment
M4 standard mags for a great versatility
Flip up rear sight
Easy forearm removal for battery access
Right and Left side selector switch
Cons:
Flash hider hard to remove
Rate of fire with 8.4v stock battery
